Paris: Food, Fonts and Fashion

When I travel to cities I have never been to before, there are usually a few key things my eye is drawn to. In Paris it was macarons, letter forms and shoes.

Maybe everything just looks prettier when it's written out in French (as German is no longer a foreign language to me) and arranged in rainbow colors.

A few highlighted memories from our August, 2009 weekend in Paris: a picnic in the Louvre gardens (and the longest search I have ever been on for a baguette); the grandest Hermès store I've ever stepped foot into; and morning breakfasts in the sunshine with Sven.
